Samsung LN55C650 Pros :
- Excellent Picture Quality.
- Fast changing tuner (I use OTA and Cable directly into the TV using a Winegard Video A/B switch)
- Tuner deciphers cable channels allowing bypass of cable STB.
- PC Connection works great
- Content media works great. Just create three folders on your USB stick called Pictures, Videos, and Music and the TV is able to handle the media just fine.
- Built-in Pandora, YouTube, and other internet content features.
- Built-in Netflix.
Samsung LN55C650 Cons :
- Slow to turn on (about 5-7 seconds from the time the power button is pressed before anything happens).
- Sleep timer begins at 30min (should consider 15 min increments).
- Remote reception is poor beyond 10 feet (causing stretched out arms and pointing the remote toward the TV).
- Lack of variable sound on the external 3mm sound port (meaning you cannot control the master sound on the 3mm external port using the TV remote).
- Netflix sometimes freezes. This is a TV issue since I’ve tried using a Samsung Blueray player with Netflix on the same internet connection (connected to the same TV) and do not experience picture freezing.
