VIZIO XVT553SV LCD HDTV
- Picture quality is outstanding.
- Tons of inputs.
- The remote is almost perfect. well-spaced buttons that are easy to read and arranged logically and in similar locations to other DVR’s. The physical size is perfect, not too long like many remotes. Remove the keyboard is fantastic addition.
- Remote and menus on the TV setup on the unit are intuitive, easy to use and graphically well done. The VIZIO XVT553SV TV picture quality was great for us out of the box, without adjustment. Remote control settings via the display settings automatically tries to code and only requires the user to click on “working” / “didn’t work” in order to cycle through and find the correct code. Best remote settings I’ve ever seen.
- Internet applications are useful. Neflix is the one we use mostly. Because television is the sound source, an optical cable needed to connect to the receiver. Once set, the sound and picture quality are excellent. Getting to a list of movies with the VIA button on the remote control has only a few clicks. Netflix approach works so well, that just use the media computer hooked up to the system.
